She spent her life running toward what everyone else ran from.
Brandy was a firefighter who dedicated her life to protecting others. She wore the uniform of the Houston Fire Department and she meant every part of it—the early calls, the long shifts, the strangers whose worst day she walked into on purpose.
In the end, the greatest battle she ever fought wasn't inside a burning building. It was against cancer.
She fought it the way she fought everything: without complaint, and mostly worried about everyone else in the room.
Before the hospital rooms, there were airports and dinner tables and ordinary Tuesdays. This is the part of the story the diagnosis never got to touch.

Firefighter Allinience passed away on Tuesday, December 16, following a courageous battle with cancer believed to be related to her service. She proudly served the City of Houston since 2014 and was most recently assigned to Station 21/B.
Her dedication, bravery, and selfless service will never be forgotten. We stand alongside the Houston Fire Department during this difficult time and honor Firefighter Allinience’s legacy of service to others.
